WIKI WIKI!

I adore Wikipedia. It is the best place to start your research. Yah yah yah, it isn't reliable, anyone can edit it. But if you read the articles it gives you a good summary of what the topic is, and then their resource list gives you a great place to start for finding your "official" resources.

Again, I adore Wikipedia.

This is what the featured articles would look like printed out. Who wants to kill that many trees? No way, I choose Wikipedia.

Dirty Car Art

This guy, Scott Wade, creates amazing pieces of art from dirty car windows. What a great idea, it is amazing what he can do with some dust and a car window.

Peonies

Peonies have been one of my favorite flowers for a long time. It is peonies in the spring, and ranunculus in the fall. Last week on Smitten I read this:

My friend Abbey is a believer in feng shui, the ancient Chinese art of arranging design elements in certain ways, in order to create a harmonious environment. So, here's an awesome tip for attracting love...

Amazingly, feng shui experts say that hanging a painting of peonies or putting fresh peonies in your house will help bring romantic love into your life. When Abbey graduated from college, her mom got her a lamp with peonies on it. Soon, Abbey met an amazing man, fell madly in love and got hitched. So who knows? It just might work!

Well since I love peonies anyways, I decided to give it ago. Right now my background on my iphone is the above image from the lovely my polaroid blog. I wonder if that qualifies for the Feng Shui rules?

SNUGGIE

I definitely meant to post about this article Yesterday, but definitely did not.

While laying by the pool on Sunday (I am still in an LA mindset) I was connecting to my majority of the year home and reading the NYT Style Section and read a fantastic article.

If you haven't heard of the Snuggie I don't know whether to congratulate you or look at you with disgust. Regardless you probably have heard of the Snuggie, and this writer decided to put the it to the test and see if it really is "great for outdoors" like the brilliant commercial suggest.

I DIE, BANANAS.

Rachel Zoe is ridiculous, I met her during Fashion Week in September, and she is way prettier than Bravo depicts, and actually really nice, but the fact she is trademarking a fruit is BANANAS. Read the article about Rachel Zoe and her trademarking mania over at The Cut on NYMAG.com.

Terrifying

I saw this one flipping through the new Bergdorf's catalog and found it absolutely terrifying, so of course I thought I would share.

Preggers

This is probably the most terrifying barbie I have ever seen, and I have seen many a barbie in my day. Apparently this delightful doll was taken off the shelves of Wal-Mart when it came out because she wasn't wearing a wedding ring.

Come on now, Barbie is our independent woman. She can do anything, be a veterinarian, work at Pizza Hut, or be  a Mail Carrier. She can even have a baby without Ken by her side.
