Black Cat

My roommate desperately wants a black cat named Nora. Cats and I have a hate-hate relationship, and thankfully our building does not allow pets so this debate has ended between us.

On Found (with one F) I saw this posting for a missing cat. I think this is the best designed missing pet poster I have ever seen. The perfect amount of information, perfectly displayed.

Nick nick nick NICKELODEON

Nickelodeon Idents from Lutas on Vimeo.

I have always been a fan of Nickelodeon. Who didn't love Doug? And remember Mr. Stick our summertime friend?

I came across this video of Nickelodeon Idents and found it pretty amusing and bookmarked it to share with you.

Grilled Cheese, Fries, and a Milkshake

Yesterday was one of those days that just did not need to exist. When I have those days I always find a grilled cheese, french fries, and a chocolate milkshake seem to help. So that is exactly what I had for lunch yesterday, and it was delicious.

I have been in a kind of funk lately, completely unmotivated to do anything. What do you guys do to help get yourself out of a funk?

Isn't that vintage ad delightfully creepy?

Greed

Have you guys seen this fictitious ad campaign created by Francesco Vezzoli's on display at the Gagosian Gallery in Rome? I assume very few of you are in Rome right now, but you can see it online. It stars Michelle Williams and Natalie Portman. I tried to be sneaky and snag the exclusive video from Dazed Digital, but I was foiled. Click over there to check out the trailer for the campaign.

ZOOEY

Why have I not posted this video before? My friend Annie told me about it ages ago and I fell in love. It is just perfect.

It is an ad campaign for Oliver Peoples starring Zooey Deschanel and Matt Costa. Mmmm. Oh and it is directed by Autumn de Wilde, does it get much better?

(Thanks to Paige for posting about it, and reminding me about the error in my ways.)

Also let's take a moment to admire Oliver Peoples logo:

Anything your cellphone can do, mine can do better

This commercial came out a few years ago, and I could not stop laughing when I first saw it. I remembered it a couple days ago, and was so happy I could find it on you tube. It still makes me laugh. Way to go Sprint, way to go.

Gag me with a spoon

I am not a big fan of Zac Efron, HSM really makes me want to cause physical harm to people though. So when I saw these guerrilla advertisements done by a classmate of mine, I couldn't help but laugh.

Green + Broadway

These are just a few of my favorite things. Green living, broadway, and a cab ride home after a long day.

W

When the film W came out I walked by posters for the film every day on the way to school. Then I walked by one day and saw what you see in the picture above. Pretty grand, gotta love that guerrila art.

I also saw this splendid poster of Sarah Palin during the elections.

Gossip Girl

Some of you may think I am crazy, but I am kind of in love with the new ad campaign. Sure it isn't the greatest ad campaign of all time, but I am really amuses and makes me excited for the show, which is the whole point right?

The Sartorialist + The Gap

Just over at The Sartorialist and saw Scott Schuman's gap ad, so thought I would share it here too.

Hugh my love

I apparently have a thing for guys named Hugh. My first love was of course Hugh Grant, and now I have a celeb crush on Hugh Dancy. So I am delighted he will be in the upcoming Gap ad campaign. In addition so will Scott Schuman (The Sartorialist) and the photogapher Ryan McGinley who I love.

Everyone Loves Marc, and apparently Mrs. Beckham

I know I am little late to be posting on this, but I just saw this ad again and I love it. I of course love Marc Jacobs, and though I never was a big Spice Girls kid, after seeing that Posh coming to America show I find her rather amusing now as well. And I just think this ad is great, it is my favorite out of the whole campaign.
