Double Slug Bug

A couple of summers ago I had some of my east coast friend come out west to go to Lake Tahoe and they were amazed at all the old VW bugs  and busses there were. I didn't realize they weren't as frequent on the East side of the country. I finally saw my first VW bus in the NYC. I was so excited I couldn't help but take a picture.

There is no place like home

Today I have 9 hours of class, then I will be clicking my heels three times and heading home for Thanksgiving.

Today is my Dad's birthday! To celebrate here is a pic of him when he was just a youngin'.

Blustery Day

It is a blustery day here in Eugene. My theory is that Eugene is sad to see me leave tomorrow, and this is it's way of showing it. Just a few tears here, a few sniffles there.

I'm leaving the West Coast for New York again, packing is almost done, so is my spontaneous clean-out of my room. I'm tired.......

Trying trying trying

Why does summer and the sun make it so difficult to work? All I want to do is lay in my backyard and enjoy the weather.

THROW ME!

I saw this photo on Amy Nation. It brought me back to my childhood right away because my dad always used to throw me in the pool. I have recently decided when and if I ever get married I will know my mate is a keeper because he can throw me in the pool. My brother tries to sometimes, but really it is just like shoving me and me falling face first into the water. Not quite as much fun as being thrown through the air.
