Autumn de Wilde

Came across Autumn de Wilde's work, and fell in love. Then I realized after going through her portfolio I had seen her work in tons of places. I highly recommend checking it out.

Finally

I saw Avenue Q, and it is just as amazing as everyone says it is. Who knew puppets could be so funny? If you have the chance to see it, see it.

Four Weddings and a Funeral

I know I am way behind the times, but I just saw Four Weddings and a Funeral for the first time all the way through. It is AMAZING, and I have always been in love with Hugh Grant, but now I am love him even more. I wish I could have found a picture of him in glasses, but this will do.

Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood

You will find Winnie the Pooh. I love this endsheet from an old Winnie the Pooh story book I got outside from The Strand.

Taking Things Seriously

I am sure some of you have seen this book, but I just love the concept behind it. I am quite the collector of knick knacks, and to me they all have importance, even if know one else gets it. I highly recommend checking out this book, I first saw it at the MoMA store, but you can get it on Amazon.com.

Annabelles

My lovely friend Annie has opened up shop on Etsy. It is called Annabelles, and is spectacular. She is selling cards that are all original contour drawings down with pen and watercolor. I love them, I want them all (including the one above). She even includes a little bio about the person who the contour is of. Also she has mentioned some pretty cute packaging. So go to her shop now and check them out!

Simon Doonan

Simon Doonan amuses me so much. And lately I have found his site rather amusing as well. He has great photos (like the one pictured above), but I especially love his random scribblings which are great random thoughts from Simon.Check them out here (especially the one on Karl Lagerfeld).

Urban Toilets

I really like the idea behind these new decals from Urban Outfitters. It can be difficult sometimes to add cute details to your bathroom due to the fact that it often gets wet and steamy in there. So I think these are a great way to spruce up your commode.

THROW ME!

I saw this photo on Amy Nation. It brought me back to my childhood right away because my dad always used to throw me in the pool. I have recently decided when and if I ever get married I will know my mate is a keeper because he can throw me in the pool. My brother tries to sometimes, but really it is just like shoving me and me falling face first into the water. Not quite as much fun as being thrown through the air.

Rushmore

So Rushmore is great and so is this cross-stitch version of Max.  Found on RubyKahn's profile on flickr, she has tons of great cross-stitched characters that you should check out.

I wrote and directed a hit play, so I am not sweating it either.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Fathers Day everyone! This a little something I made for my pop. If you haven't given your dad a call make sure you do!

Playboy

The good ol' days of Playboy with no "Girls Next Door". I just think this image is great. By the way did anyone see "Sex: The Revolution" on VH1? I think they do really good documentary series, and I really enjoyed this one.

Andre Jordan

I am enjoying Andre Jordan's doodle style illustrations. There simplicity and wittiness reminds of Marc Johns who I posted on a while back and love.
Check out more of Andre Jordan here.

Oh my

Another picture of Baby Mark (aka my dad) and my Uncle Paul. What I love about this is that my grandparents needed to write the names down on the border of the photograph to apparently remember which kid is which.

What a place

Anyone visit this at the Whitney Summer of Love show last summer? A wonderful place to relax except for the fact that it smelled like feet.

Jetting

So I was traveling this week and noticed how nobody was in a good mood. I feel like there was a time before I existed when going to the airport and flying somewhere was somewhat glamorous. I wish it still was. Then suddenly I remembered the jetblue ads for jetting vs flying and immediately started identifying with it. Let's all start jetting.
